Rangoli Patterns by Dominic
Indian people have Dwali. It is a special because
every year they have a celebration. They make a Rangoli pattern to welcome
their goddess to make sure they have food and that they are healthy. Rangoli
patterns are made with rice, flour and grains. Indian people like bright
colours. On Dwali there are heaps of bright colours. I think Indian people are
special because they have Dwali.
Rangoli Patterns by Jessica
Rangoli patterns are made out of rice,
flour and grains. They are all shapes and sizes. They have lots of colours and
lots of detail.
The people put them by the door when it is
Dwali. The Rangoli pattern is colourful and bright. There are lots of layers of
beautiful shapes and they look perfect for display in the museum and they look
great for any important day. People make them to live a happy life.
My opinion is that is a very special and it
takes a long time to finish it.

Alexander's Trip to the USA
As we arrived at Los Angeles we went out for lunch and after that we went to Westfield to buy clothes. Then Dad drove the car up a tall mountain. When the car stopped on the top of the mountain and I looked out the car window I could see a sign that said Hollywood. The next day I went to Disneyland. First we went to where you shoot the big aliens and then we went to the Finding Nemo submarine. After that we went for lunch and looked at the show. After lunch we went on the long, long tram and when the tram stopped we were out of Disney Land park. We were in the other Disney Land. Then we saw a lego toy shop so we went in to look at the lego toys then we went on the tram again but this time Dad Nicholas and I sat at the front of the tram Mum and her Sister sat at the next load the tram was also very long and fast. When we got back we went to Micky Toontown to take photos with Micky Mouse and eat ice cream then we went on the steam train next we went on the big white ship

Museum Trip by Austin
On Wednesday ninth of May Room 8 and Room 17 were on their way to Auckland Museum. It was a nice sunny day as well. Soon we got there and we went in and we put our bags in the cages. My favourite place was the weird and wonderful because there was insects, bones and animals that were dead. There were also cool dinosaurs and one of them had a Mowhawk. My favourite creatures were the insects because they had cool patterns and colours. I loved felling the turtle shells because they felt smooth and soft but some of them were hard and green. My feelings when I saw them were sad and a little bit happy and weird because all the animals were dead and shot and it looked scary but the thing that made me happy was looking at the sharks cool teeth. It was probably the best place in the Museum and I loved it.
