How to look after Cockatiels by Cruze

You need a big bag of bird seed a tall bird cage. Inside the bird cage you need a ladder. The ladder is for the birds to climb on. You need a water bowl so the birds can lick it. The birds need a nesting box it is made of cardboard. Inside the nesting box you put wood chips. Inside the cage you need sticks for chewing and climbing. Birds need toys like a disco ball but they chew on them,.

The bottom of the cage needs to be cleaned every 5 days. The birds need bird seed every day. You can hold the birds and teach them tricks. It is really hard to teach them tricks. I’m teaching my bird Skipper to walkon a rope.

Sometimes they have baby birds, they start as eggs. Mother and father bird take turns keeping the

eggs warm. The eggs hatch day by day.

Letters to NZ Athletes at the Commonwealth Games

Drum Workshop by Austin

I enjoyed copying Johnny because he taught me some drum playing that I didn't know. He is also really good at the drums. He just does it straight away and he knows what he is doing.
Something new I learned was the bass because I had to make it loud. It was a bit hard to do the beat and keep on track.
I would like to find out more about drums that make animals come to you.

The Bush by Charlotte

The Bush
Write about what you see, hear, smell and feel when you go to the bush.

I see  trees that are blowing everywhere
I hear birds and bees
I smell the fresh air everywhere
I feel old leaves touching my feet
